GOOD NEWS

Chertsey The Twynersh Hungry Horse in Chertsey finally re-opened on 25th October 2020, following a major fire and the Covid-19 lockdown. It is likely that Greene King IPA will be on the bar, if anyone would like to check and report back via WhatPub?

Egham The long awaited King's Arms at the BP garage end of the High Street has opened, and has hotel rooms, and is a rare new addition to the Egham pub scene. They are also looking for staff in all areas of the business. Also the White Lion right down the other end of town round corner from the Fire Station has also re-opened following a thorough refurbishment. I'd have used the Police Station as a point of reference if they hadn't pulled it down.

Englefield Green The Bailiwick by Windsor Park has re-opened under new ownership and management, and well worth a visit. In current climate this is FANTASTIC news.

Sunbury After a period of closure, the Phoenix has been taken over by the White Horse, so things definitely looking on the up.

Virginia Water Following a period of closure, the Rose & Olive Branch down Callow Hill has been refurbished and re-opened by Windsor & Eton, so why not pop along and support this new venture.

Woodham/New Haw The Victoria on corner of Faris Lane re-opened in December 2020 having been aquired by Prospect Pubs, who have carried out a major facelift. If you find out what real ale they may be selling, please Contact Branch.
