Happy Man
Another great Beer Festival at the Happy Man in Englefield Green, our 2026 Pub of the Year. No doubt a great range of ales and food will be available. *Branch Social* Thursday 28th from 7pm. Getting there Buses including 8 & 441 stop in nearby Egham Hill outside Royal Holloway University, not late evening.
- HOPE CARSHALTON BEER FESTIVAL
Thursday 28 – Friday 29 May 2026

Latest Beer Festival at the Community owned Hope, Carshalton, a regular London Pub of the Year. Seven real ales on the bar, with a further assortment in the festival marquee, as well as real ciders and craft keg. A couple of members usually pop along on the Thursday before beers start running out! Getting there Train to Clapham Junction, then out to Carshalton Station, which is 3 minutes walk from pub. Also several TFL bus routes pass the door, as listed on CAMRA Pubs.
- HAMPTON SEA SCOUTS BEER FESTIVAL
Friday 5 – Saturday 6 June 2026

A selection of beers, many local, and money raised goes to Charity. Seating in hall and in garden, and marquees if the weather is too hot or too wet. Tickets including Early Bird offers, can be purchased online via Hampton Beer Festival, and a pint of beer or cider is only £4.20. Saturday afternoon family friendly, evening sessions are 18+. Getting there: The Scout Hut, 84-86 Station Rd, Hampton, TW12 2AX is 5 minutes walk from Hampton Station, and the 216 bus from Staines, Ashford & Sunbury stops close by.
- KINGSTON CAMRA BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL
Thursday 11 – Saturday 13 June 2026

An early heads up for this annual CAMRA Festival, taking place once again at the Kingston Workmens Club. Will feature a fine selection of real ales, ciders, and key keg lines. Full range of other drinks, and food should be available too. Further information is available on Kingston BeerFest 2026, and of course FREE entry for CAMRA members. *Branch Social* from 1pm Thursday 11th June. Getting there: 5 minutes walk from Kingston Rail & Bus Stations. By railway direct from Shepperton, or mainline change at Twickenham, also several buses from Staines, Ashford, Chertsey and Addlestone.
- EALING BEER FESTIVAL 2026

Now the largest CAMRA Festival in London. 300+ real ales, ciders, perries, wines & world beers. Also food stalls, live music & pub games. See Ealing Beer Festival for further details. Branch Social maybe on the Thursday? Please Contact Branch if you're interested. Getting There: Venue is Walpole Park in Mattock Lane, Ealing, W5 5EQ. Walkable from Ealing Broadway Station on the Elizabeth, Circle & District Lines. Various public transport options from our area include train to Kew Bridge then 65 Bus, or train to Brentford then E8 Bus.

Reading has many great pubs, so why not join us for a wander around some of the best? Details will be added closer to the date, but suggest meet up on Reading Station forecourt at 1.15pm Saturday 18th July. Getting there Reading is served by regular trains from our area, also of course from Paddington if coming from London.

Egham United Services Club

Never too early to get this one in the diary, a thrice year highlight of the Branch diary. Celebrating 60 years since England lifted the World Cup on 30th July, 1966! More Festival details to follow in due course. *Branch Social* from 6pm Thursday 30th July. Getting there The Club is 10 mins walk from Egham Rail Station. Buses 8, 441 & 500 stop in the nearby High Street, with occasional 442 in the later evening.
- ENGLEFIELD GREEN WANDER

Fox & Hounds
An early heads for your diary, a walk around the pubs and green spaces of Englefield Green on Saturday 22nd August, details including meet up point and time TBC to follow. Maybe a walk from the more distant pubs for the more energetic, than meeting up in the village for the more local pubs. NB Starting point may change, but have to put a place name to create an event on here. Getting there Buses 8 & 441 stop in the village.
- Peterborough BeerFest 2026

With the GBBF not going ahead this year, Peterborough Beer Festival will be CAMRA's largest festival in 2026, with members gaining FREE ENTRY. For more information please see Peterbough Beerfest. Getting there Peterborough is on the East Coast mainline, served by frequent trains from London Kings Cross, and venue is a 20 minute walk from the station. You could pop into historic Norman Peterborough Cathedral when passing.
