Latest Beer Festival at the Community owned Hope, Carshalton, a regular London Pub of the Year. Several real ales on the bar, and further assortment in the festival marquee, as well as real ciders and craft keg. Getting there Train to Clapham Junction, then out to Carshalton Station, which is 3 minutes walk from pub. Also several TFL bus routes pass the door, as listed on Hope, Carshalton.

.Publication day for the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2027, and we'll be holding a launch event at Thames Side Brewery at 7pm. Copies of the fully refreshed and updated 54th Edition of this definitive guide will be available to purchase on the night. Getting there: Bus 8, 441, 446 & 456 stop in nearby Clarence Street Staines, and the Train & Bus Stations are a 10-15 minute walk away.
- Ascot Beer Festival 2026
Friday 2 – Saturday 3 October 2026

Ascot CAMRA Beer Festival returns, racecourse entry and bars will open at 11.00am on both days, with racing starting around 2.00pm. Bars will close 30 minutes after the last race, around 5-5.30pm. Over 150 real ales, ciders & perries on offer. Usual racecourse food franchises will be in operation. For more information including ticket sales see Ascot CAMRA Beer Festival. NB Entry can prove expensive if you don't pre-book. Getting There Racecourse is a few minutes walk along a footpath from Ascot Station, which is on the Reading and Aldershot lines.

A thrice yearly highlight of the Branch diary, and this one is the 50th!. More Festival details to follow in due course. *Branch Social* from 6pm Thursday 12th November. Following Festival dates are 14-17th April, and 28-31st July 2027. Getting there The Club is 10 mins walk from Egham Rail Station. Buses 8, 441 & 500 stop in the nearby High Street during the day, with occasional 442 in the later evening.
