Our neighbours CAMRA Berkshire South East are holding an Ale Trail centred around Wokingham, from June 7th to July 12th 2026. A self-guided walk around participating pubs, serving well-kept real ale. Free to join, and you may receive a reward at the end. For more information including how to obtain the guide, see Wokingham Ale Trail 2026. Getting there: Wokingham is on the Reading mainline, and station an easy walk into town.
- BARLEY MOW SHEPPERTON SPECIAL AWARD

Barley Mow
Please join us at 7.30pm on Thursday 18th June for a Special Award Social at the Barley Mow in Shepperton Green. John has won many awards over the years, and sold hundreds if not thousands of interesting ales, so we will be gathering to have a decent pint or two, and to say thank you. See you there? Getting there: Served by the 458 bus between Staines and Kingston.
- MAIDENHEAD BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL 2026

The 13th CAMRA Maidenhead Beer & Cider Festival takes place once again at the Sports Bar in Summerleaze Park, Maidenhead SL6 8SP. FREE ENTRY for CAMRA members, and they are supporting the Thames Hospice charity, a very worthwhile cause. Getting there: Train to Reading > Maidenhead > Furze Platt. Walking access best via Alderbury Road, about 10 minutes from the station.
- EALING BEER FESTIVAL 2026

Now the largest CAMRA Festival in London. 300+ real ales, ciders, perries, wines & world beers. Also food stalls, live music & pub games. See Ealing Beer Festival for further details. Branch Social maybe on the Thursday? Please Contact Branch if you're interested. Getting There: Venue is Walpole Park in Mattock Lane, Ealing, W5 5EQ. Walkable from Ealing Broadway Station on the Elizabeth, Circle & District Lines. Various public transport options from our area include train to Kew Bridge then 65 Bus, or train to Brentford then E8 Bus.

Reading has many great pubs, so why not join us for a wander around some of the best? Details will be added closer to the date, but suggest meet up on Reading Station forecourt at 1.15pm Saturday 18th July. Getting there Reading is served by regular trains from our area, also of course from Paddington if coming from London.

Never too early to get this one in the diary, a thrice year highlight of the Branch diary. Celebrating 60 years since England lifted the World Cup on 30th July, 1966! More Festival details to follow in due course. *Branch Social* from 6pm Thursday 30th July. Getting there The Club is 10 mins walk from Egham Rail Station. Buses 8, 441 & 500 stop in the nearby High Street, with occasional 442 in the later evening.
- ENGLEFIELD GREEN WANDER

An early heads for your diary, a walk around the pubs and green spaces of Englefield Green on Saturday 22nd August, details including meet up point and time TBC to follow. Maybe a walk from the more distant pubs for the more energetic, than meeting up in the village for the more local pubs. NB Starting point may change, but have to put a place name to create an event on here. Getting there Buses 8 & 441 stop in the village.

With the GBBF not going ahead this year, Peterborough Beer Festival will be CAMRA's largest festival in 2026, with members gaining FREE ENTRY. For more information please see Peterbough Beerfest. Getting there Peterborough is on the East Coast mainline, served by frequent trains from London Kings Cross, and venue is a 20 minute walk from the station. You could pop into historic Norman Peterborough Cathedral when passing.
