My thanks to for all who got involved trying to save the Forester's Arms in Egham. Due to a number of objections, the Foresters Arms Planning Application for change of use and conversion to flats went before the Full Planning Committee on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. After a lengthy discussion, the application was approved by 8 votes to 4 against, with 1 abstention. Our thanks in particular to Local Councillor Isabel Mullens (Egham Residents) who argued strongly against application on grounds of retaining as a Community Asset and other matters, supported by Councillor Robert King (Labour Egham Hythe) and Cai Parry (Labour Chertsey). So another pub bites the dust.
